EDIT (February 20, 2011): I completed the new version of this picture!
First order of business: That is NOT Zuko and Mai's lovechild... it is Tom-Tom!
Wow... this took me literally ALL DAY to complete! I went through almost the entire third season of Avatar while I was working on this!
The story is that the gang has returned to the Southern Water Tribe to help rebuild it (it's lookin' a lot better right now then how we last saw it) and Uncle decided to vacation for a while, so he's hangin' out with his old buddy, Pakku.
I drew the lineart about three months ago and lost the drive to finish it for the time being and ended up putting it away. Now that's there's a chance of snow tomorrow, I wanted to draw a snow scene!
So this is not that long after the ending of the show, since Tom-Tom isn't THAT much older (he has his first tooth, look carefully!) and the only ones who have obviously changed a little are Tom-Tom and Aang, who's face has grown more "manly" in the intervening time.
And don't ask me why Toph is barefoot in the middle of the SOUTH POLE! It's a wonder her toes haven't fallen off yet!
