This was our final project for my art class.  The entire time, we'd been working with paint, so we were all surprised when our teacher pulled out a box of paper and some Exacto knives and glue and told us to create a portrait of Marilyn using those tools!  Personally, I hated this project because paper is so much less forgiving than paint.  With paint, if you make a mistake, you can always paint over it.  With paper, it's just there forever, boo hoo, too bad, so sad.

I'm still pretty happy with how my piece turned out (I sort of made her mole the focal point) but it took me a good eleven hours to complete!
