Edit: I've been getting lots of people thinking that this is really what happened in the books. It's not a BoO spoiler, it's not from anything, this is a headcannon! I repeat–– this is a headcannon! I promise you didn't miss anything in your readthrough of the book, and that I don't have an advance copy of BoO!

THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SMALL FLUFF COMIC ABOUT PERCY REUNITING WITH HIS MOM, BUT THEN THE PLOT SUCKER-PUNCHED ME AND TOOK OVER. I mean, Sally didn't even freakin' make it into the comic at all! Maybe a part 2, if I'm feeling ambitious? Ahem. It was also originally going to be only a small sketch, but then I went and colored it. It's not fancy coloring, but I hope it makes a difference.
This design of Paul is based on my earlier design of him... except he just rolled out of bed here! To see a cleaner-cut Paul, refer to this piece of mine:
I can hardly wait the final month until we can discover the ending of the book! I know for sure that Rick Riordan will not be letting any of his characters off easily (the ones that survive, anyway). Perhaps even those that survive will be carrying scars around with them for the rest of their lives. "No Longer Whole" not only refers to the physical disabilities that I've given Percy, but also the emotional and mental disabilities he is sure to face. War takes its toll forever.
